Thompson & Bryan achieve Chartered status
Independent loss adjusters Thompson & Bryan have achieved Chartered status, granted by the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA).
Chartered status acts as a guarantee for claimants that a loss adjuster has the appropriate level of competence. Thompson & Bryan, unlike some firms of loss adjusters, work solely for policyholders and not for insurers, which avoids conflict of interest issues.
Managing Director Paul Lawrence, comments: “We’re delighted to achieve chartered status. The accreditation process is thorough and demanding but provides brokers and their customers of the additional reassurance that our firm acts to the highest professional and ethical standards.”
Chartered status is secured only by proving there is a high level of knowledge and experience within a firm and there is a thorough vetting procedure, with ongoing requirements in terms of CIPD.
Paul Lawrence continues: “With the drive for professionalism within the broking market continuing to grow apace, we look forward to working with our fellow professionals in doing all we can to ensure their customers benefit from claims preparation and management services that lead to prompt and full settlement.”
