As you know, I was in two minds whether we needed to appoint a loss assessor following our warehouse fire in February this year, but I am extremely pleased that we did so, and I can say with absolute certainty that it significantly improved our negotiating position and the size of our insurance recovery. In fact I would say to anyone in a similar position facing any substantial claim that they should have an expert fighting their corner.
I would like to put on record what a fabulous job you’ve done for us. Your understanding of the case, attention to detail and dogmatic perseverance was key to a successful outcome.
Even the supposedly simpler parts of the claim (mainly lost stock) had a number of nuances that required a guiding hand, but it is in the more complex areas (particularly business interruption) where the skills of a good loss assessor really come to the fore. Your tenacity and analysis helped this process enormously and without doubt improved our claim. The total recovery was above our expected range, and much higher than we would have been able to achieve without your expert guidance.
I would have no hesitation in recommending your services to anyone unfortunate enough to find themselves in a similar position in the future.
