When your business is victim of a major fire it’s difficult to think straight, and the stress of thinking of the worst is always a burden. I was introduced to John Leivers from Thompson & Bryan by my insurance broker, and from the initial meeting I was left feeling confident. His positive attitude and around the clock support really helped me during the first few weeks of the claim, all the way through to the relaunch of the business.

Looking back, I don’t think I would have managed with all the work involved without John’s assistance, reassurance and general support. I would highly recommend Thompson & Bryan and am thankful for their work.

Following the flooding of our premises in December 2013, our insurance brokers appointed Mr John Leivers to act on our behalf to deal with our insurance company regarding the claim.

I found Mr Leivers to be very competent and professional in the manner in which he dealt with myself and our insurers. Throughout the process, he was very helpful and collated all the information to present in a format that was easy to understand and acceptable to our insurers, ensuring nothing was missed.

I feel without Mr Leivers’ assistance and guidance, we would not have achieved the satisfactory outcome that we did and therefore I would have no hesitation in recommending his company and himself to other clients.

“As you can imagine, we had little idea of what we could claim for and how to handle the insurance company and their loss adjusters and, although we had not heard of loss assessors prior to the damage, we were relieved that we were able to leave all of the correspondence, financial analysis and negotiation with them to you and your team.

“This allowed us to focus on getting the business back on track as soon as possible and we are pleased to report that we are continuing to expand.”
